He figured out how to keep peanut oil from separating from the peanut solids, giving birth to the smooth peanut butter we all love today. He even sold his patent to a company that produced Peter Pan peanut butter and started his own brand, Skippy!

Peanut Butter was officially introduced to the world at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri, USA where a businessman named George Bayle started selling it. However, it took a bit of time for this delectable spread to gain widespread popularity.
